How affiliate relationships affect our content
They don't — and this is a firm editorial policy, not a marketing claim.
We choose which products to review and recommend based entirely on their merits. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, and we do not adjust ratings or recommendations based on commission rates. A product we earn nothing from will get the same honest evaluation as one with a strong affiliate program.
When we recommend a product, it's because we believe it genuinely deserves the recommendation. When we don't, we say so — even if that means leaving commission on the table.
